Tartinians at conferences throughout Europe

Poster zum Projekt Tartinians in Europe

Tartinians in Europe will be presented at conferences in Birmingham, Turin and Salzburg

 
The international WEAVE project "Tartinians in Europe. The School of Nations and its Networks" is currently being presented by project members at specialist conferences throughout Europe. In July, the project was in Birmingham at the "Birmingham Baroque. 21st Biennial International Conference on Baroque Music" with a poster presentation. 
On Friday 24 October, Nora Eder and Elisabetta Forlani will give another poster presentation at the 32nd annual conference of the Società Italiana di Musicologia Cristina Scuderi will also be present at this conference. 
One month later, on 20/21 November, Nora Eder will present the project again at the REMA Regional Conference Early Music in Europewhich will take place in Salzburg.

On 13 and 14 September 2025, members of the TartinianS in Europe project took part in the MerMEId workshop at the Trieste Conservatory. The event provided a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas on digital music cataloguing, explore topics related to Giuseppe Tartini in greater depth and strengthen cooperation between European institutions in the field of digital musicology.

Call for Papers for the upcoming academic conference «Con il signor prencipe per il mio scolare». Pupils, Patrons, Printers and Violin Culture in 18th-Century Europe, which will take place from 19-21 May 2026 at the University of Graz.

Places still available for the Erasmus exchange in Milan, 09-13 December 2025

Interested students from the University of Graz are invited to take part in the International Erasmus Workshop (BIP) on "The Violin Schools in Eighteenth-Century Europe" together with students from other universities.
